1. using your fingers. I always use fingers, I only ever use brushes for powder products as I find they are much quicker and work just as well, especially for cream or liquid makeup.

2.Speaking of cream products, they can be a great time saver. Go for a cream eye shadow like here and blend over the lid for a quick wash of colour. Cream blushes are also great for multi-tasking, use them on lips, therefore saving you even more time. I love these blushes here. Alternatively you could try a bright lip, which is a great trick to brighten up the face, remember go completely natural with the rest of your makeup. Try this or this one if you are brave?
